Abstract Switzerland is a typical Confederation State in the world.Its administrative division system has some differences from the other countries's with the efforts of the history and the culture.The paper tries to analyze Swiss administrative division system from these three parts:local administrative organization, local authority and administrative area, then shows that there is a close relation between Swiss administrative division with its language distribution.
