Abstract The paper divides Hainan island into the coastal cultural region, Lingao cultural region, Danzhou cultural region, Li nationality and Miao nationality cultural region in the area of Wuzhi mountain (including two subregions of Hemuzhi and beyond Hemuzhi), Hui nationality cultural block of Sanya Yanglan, Which depends on the five indexes of nearly same nationality form; nearly same language (or dialect);almost same cultural landscapes;the cultural regions integrating a whole;existing a cultural center that can reflect the regional cultural characters.
