Abstract This paper analyzes the features of political geography environment in China from the view of political geography. China is located in the key position of Asia-Pacific region, with a number of neighboring countries, a complex international relationship, and a large number of potentially unsteady factors. On the basis of the special political environment, the author puts forward diplomatic strategy from the view of making the best use of the situation. That is, China should deal with Sino-American relationship rationally on the base of Asia-Pacific region, and give full play to its function as a "Great Country". Finally, the author emphasizes that it is quite necessary for China to strive to gain excellent development environment and to persist in the way of being a powerful country.
