SEEKING THE LANDSCAPE'S GENES ATLAS: ONE KIND OF NEW ANGLE OF VIEW ABOUT SETTLEMENT'S CULTURAL LANDSCAPE DISTRICTS RESEARCH

Abstract  The settlement's culture landscape always is one of the cultural geography research core content. Because receives the influence of the geographical environment's complexity and the national culture's multiple, China's traditional settlement's landscape displays the rich region landscape characteristic.
This article also conceives, through dividing the settlement's landscape regions, further introduces "the gene atlas" concept of the biology, develops the deep level "cultural gene" analysis to each region settlement's landscape characteristic. Finally, establishes "the landscape gene atlas" which reflects each settlement's landscape region evolutionary process and the interdependence, by this advance the culture geography about region landscape genes atlas exploration research.
The main minority nation areas where the primitive national culture is preserved more, as such as Yunnan, Guizhou and western Hunan and so on, seeking the primitive totem is the main way of recognizing the national culture genes. In Wa minority nation area, its landscape gene is the "cattle totem." In Dong nation's settlement landscape genes, "the bird totem" is the key landscape gene. This research to the cultural geography theory construction, has the vital scientific significance.
