Abstract Global Production Network (GPN) has become the main competitive force on the micro level in the process of globalization.The paper examines the structure of global PC &Peripheral production network, which constitutes flagships, high-level suppliers and low-level suppliers locating at different countries and areas.Then it concludes the characteristics of global PC &Peripheral production network by its development. The value chain is divided into global PC &Peripheral production network and production,R&D as well as service in the network.Flagships,high-level and low-level suppliers are different levels in the network that are asymmetric in gathering information,affecting the development of network and so on. Thus the framework are provided for analyzing the global transferring of PC &Peripheral production dominated by flagship,which may benefit China and other developing countries who are on the way of adjusting their industrial structure and upgrading industry.
