CHARACTERISTCS OF JOBHOLDERS' SPATIAL DISTRIBUTION OF CREATIVE INDUSTRY IN GUANGZHOU

Abstract  The creative economy has arisen since 1990s and the creative industry is becoming a hotspot of researches at home and abroad. Based on the analysis of the data of the first economic survey of Guangzhou, the paper explores the characteristics of sptial distribution of jobholders in creativity industry from the perspctive of geographic space, and traces their regional distribution rule through the analysis of space stratification plane comparative studies on city overall space, the city region structure space as well as the distribution space of creativity industry profession, aiming to summarize its trend of development and driving forces. The conclusions are drawn as follows:First, the practitioners' space of creative industry gathers obviously, mainly concentrating in the central city and dispersing outward gradually; Secondly, serveral clusters have been formed in different certain distircts of the city obviously; Thirdly, the cluster formation and their development trend vary from the professional charaters of the job holders in creative industry. Besides, the paper discusses the above-mentioned Characteristics from the Perspective of the microscopic stratification plane, which is an academic domain seldom involved by domestic researchers. What's more, This paper puts forward some suggestion to the planning of Guangzhou, attempting not only to enrich the researches on the spatial criterion of creativity industry employment, but also to guide the development of creativity industry in Guangzhou City.
