Abstract Mountain area is so broad in China, the development of mountain tourism is vary important to mountain development. Spatial thinking is that people think of space object for analysis, comparison, and inference, integrate and seek ways to solve problems. It stresses the importance of spatial position from the perspective of space awareness and analysis of social problems and phenomena. Unlike plain, mountain area has its regional peculiarity, vulnerability and instability, while mountain tourism resources have the characteristics of diversity, complex and multi-faces. Using point of thinking, line of thinking, surface of thinking, style of thinking, etc., this paper takes impacts and changes to the practices of mountain tourism development.
On the basis of spatial thinking theories, this article discusses the application in mountain tourism development. 1) spatial thinking responses to a series of analysis,judgment and integrity of the disposal ground for further adjustment rapidly and efficiently. the tourism development on the space thinking is mentioned from these three aspects: the object, ways of thinking and thinking process.2) Mountain Tourism Development is the subject of ecology, tourism and the economy of geographical systems, the development process needs to integrate natural eco-tourism environmental factors and socio-economic factors. Influenced by natural environment, regional economic environment and the social environment, mountain tourism development model is mainly formed on the basis of the mountain tourism environmental catastrophe theory, the theory of the cycle development of mountain tourism, comparison theory of mountain tourism development, gray development theory of mountain tourism. 3)with a comprehensive consideration of space thinking and mountain tourism development theory and point of thinking, line of thinking, surface of thinking and thinking style ideas, the paper summed up mountain tourism development concept model under the concept of space thinking. 4)Finally, on the basis of space ideas of mountain tourism development, taking Zhenba County in Shaanxi Province as an example, the paper explained tourism development concept model from the following aspects: the mountain ecological characteristics and spatial patterns of resources, mountain traffic conditions and network development, market competitiveness of mountain tourism development, socio-economic integration of mountain tourism environment. this model is of significance not only for Zhenba County, but other mountainous regions and stereoscopic obvious areas.
