Abstract The number of trade disputes towards China has been increasing recently. We should now focus on the interior aspects of it in order to enhance the competitive ability in the international trade. The origin of the trade disputes overlaps with the biased distribution of Chinese major trading partners, namely, the EU, US and Japan markets. We should adjust the regional distribution of the export market according to the Theory of Demand Preference Similarity, altering to a global trade strategy by attaching importance to the markets with similar income level. Especially we should highlight the previously unimportant markets of Africa and Latin America, so as to relieve the impacts of trade disputes and strive for a competitive and big trading nation of the world.
