Abstract In the period of planning economy,urban housing system in China is distributing welfare houses system inside the units,so the residents barely have choices for houses.The urban habitation spatial differentiations mainly lie on units' character,location,distinction,scale,housing system etc.With the establishment and consummating of market economic system,the durative differentiations and conformity of the urban residential district spatial structure in China have partly impacted previous unit-system residential model since the reform and opening-up.Furthermore,the article forecasts the trend and direction of the urban habitation spatial differentiations in China in the future.
The housing system for urban inhabitant in China has come into the third moment that individual buys house among three moments.As a result of the enlarge of difference between poverty and richness and influence of market mechanism,previous unit-system residential model changes in different degrees.The spatial structure of urban residential district in the mass and bosom of the unit-system residential district both appear differentiations and conformity.Commercial and different popular residential district develop rapidly and cater for the demand of part "rich unit" and few rich social estate,and advance the trend of outskirts of part inhabitant land indirectly.In the future,spatial differentiation trend of urban residential district in China will intensify.In these places,the circumstance is graceful and the distance between residential district and city's center is mezzo because of the limit of land form.In addition,some residential districts cast of the limit of valley-basined,and construct in periphery of the city.In those places,the region is predominant,the traffic is convenience and the circumstance is graceful.
