RESEARCH PROGRESS AND PROSPECTS ON RURAL COMMUNITY OF CHINA

Abstract As an important node in the promotion of urban-rural integration and the implementation of rural revitalization strategies, rural communities, which act as the basic socio-economic units and are typical compound social economic-natural ecosystems, are an organic carrier for coordinating urban and rural development and promoting new urbanization. It is an important "testing ground" for realizing the equalization of urban and rural public services and narrowing the gap between urban and rural areas, and has been studied more actively in recent years. Through the review of relevant literature and systematic induction, this paper sorts out the research hot areas and related results of rural communities in China in recent years, analyzes the main progress and existing problems in this field based on CiteSpace, and proposes the direction and focus of future research. Rural community research has made progress in theoretical construction, governance systems, construction models, planning strategies, and research methods. However, there are still insufficient theoretical summaries, relatively simple governance systems, and the depth of process mechanism research needs to be strengthened. Issues such as insufficient use of scientific methods and big data. Future research focuses include:The refinement of rural community governance, the coordinated development model of rural communities and ecological protection, the innovation of rural community governance technical means, the integration of big data and spatial analysis methods, etc. Based on the current research progress of rural communities, this article hopes to provide references for deepening the theoretical research of rural communities, expanding research fields and promoting the development of rural communities.
