Abstract Under the new circumstances of global economic integration, industrialization and urbanization promotes the rapid development of IT industry, especially the‘information expressway and internet’-based computer and remote-sensing technology among big cities gets faster development. The article focally discusses three key issues: ①Information network in city space results in the closer connection among cities. ②The influences of IT industry on urban spatial expansion and potential effect on urban development(substitution effect derivation effect enhancement effect). ③The construction of digital city in urban agglomeration, which promotes the urban modernization.
