Yulin as an arid area of the city, their poor ecological environment based on high ecological fragility, with the development of energy resources, its economic growth and the rapid development of urban construction, the impact of economic growth on the environment is also very complicated. This paper selects the Yulin City as the typical example, the 12 (district) County as the research unite, to the time period for the years 1997-2012. On the basis of defining the coordinated development effect of eco-environment and economy, the eco-environment and economy about 12 counties in Yulin City are measured by the evaluation index system. The result shows that:Firstly, Coordination of eco-environment and economic development the majority of the year, uncoordinated year less. Secondly, the coordinated developing relations between eco-environment and economy in Yulin are gradually turning to the high level, but the coordination is still in primary and secondary level. Thirdly, there are apparent spatial heterogeneities of northern and middle and southwestern and southeastern yulin in the coordinated developing types between eco-environment and economy, therefore the varied development measures and policies of eco-environment and economy are necessary to guide the building according to local conditions.
