Abstract：According to the construction of national economy and the needs of social development, the paper analysizes the development of Human and Economic Geography from the foundation of PRC arid Pointsd out that human and economic geography in 90's should lay emphasis on rural geography, population geography, damaging geography, criminal geography, and tourist geography. The paper discusses the main content of the branchess of geography mentioned above.
