Abstract:Based on the urban flow and chain network model, we established the directed topology graphs of industrial networks in this economic region for the years of 2000, 2005 and 2013, which including all sectors of primary, secondary and tertiary industries. By means of the complex networks theory and the software PAJEK, we analyzed the industrial networks in terms of the industry degree, the industry clustering coefficient and industry betweenness centrality, the evolution characteristics of the ring rate, the binding degree and the line point rate. There are several findings from the analytical results:1) There is "Matthew effect" in the Central Plains Economic Zone complex industry networks, while the networks presented a tendency of "preferential growth". 2) Zhengzhou, Xinyang and Handan have strong resources control ability and important position in the complex industrial networks, and exist strong industry relations with most of the other cities. 3) The structural parameters show some regularity in the complex industrial networks:there is a reverse correlation between industry degree and industry clustering coefficient, but the positive correlation between industry degree and industry betweenness centrality. 4) The network efficiency and network sophistication in the Central Plains Economic Zone decreased slightly in 2000-2005 and improved in 2005-2013.
