Abstract：This article is talking about some scholastic attainments of the famous Urban Geographer, Prof. Zhou Yixing. First, it simply illustrates his scholastic experiences and his research doctrines. Then it spends major space on his six major aspects of his attainments on Urban Geography:(a) Reconsidering the relationships between the level of urbanization and per capita GNP; (b) Proposing the relaive balance of urbanization, revising the absolute balance of urbanization; (c) Challenging the theory on the world urban scale distribution; (d) Developing the theory on the world urban function classification; (e) Originally viewing on the Chinese urban developing policy; (f) Researching and solution suggesting on the problems of the physical urban area concepts and statistic criteria in China. Finally, it introduces his recent researches on Urban Geography.
