Abstract：Floor area ratio is an important index to reflect the intensity of land use.In this paper the technical methods for determination of present floor area ratio based on an interpretation of large-scale aerial imagery are put forward.Besides,the calculating approaches of planning floor area ratio including hierarchical control,plot measurement and factor revising are presented.
