Abstract:Chinese caligraphy is a special cultural art form whose origin and development are closely related to the geographic environment. Through the study on the closing of ancient Chinese geographical positions, the differences between the southern and northern natural environment, the special factor of Chinese characters and the writing brush in human environment and the complexity in it, this paper discusses the formation and development in Chinese Caligraphy, indicates the objective connections of the closing stability, the difference between the North and the South and the varieties in style of Chinese caligraphy and the geographic environment (natural and human).
