Abstract：The author explores the outline of the evolution of the ideas of man-land relation-ship and planning. Considering post-modernism, the author also provides some suggestions for the urban planning in the future. And he emphasizes that four aspects should be paid more attention to urban planning. They are environment, resourse,cooperation and history, etc.
