Abstract：The development of the marine region (including the costal zone) is becoming more and more integrative, that is, it involves all the areas of human activities. In the preceeding stage of the development of the marine region, human geography was stressing on marine economic geogra-phy. It is essential and also inevitable. But now, it has entered into the stage of integration, dealing no more with the simple objoct use of the marine region. Therefore, we must have an all-round development of the research of marine human geography (such as marine population geography, marine political geography, costal zone and islands college geography, ma-rine culture geography, marine tourist geography and marine behaviour geog-raphy). Only in this way can we get twice the result with half the effort. It is also the necessary stage for the development. All the branches of marine human geography should go forwand hand in hand, and serve our marine development together.
