Abstract Appearance and distribution of city (city walls or ancient residential area) are influenced by natural condition and social environment.In this paper,we analyse the influence of natural enronment,culture background,ancient great wall,social and historical condition for the distribution of Inner Mongolia ancient city (city walls).
