Abstract Studying on the influencing factors of parent-child recreation opportunity satisfaction of city parks is of great significance for the improvement of parent-child's recreation quality in city parks. The existing study results about the parent-child tourism focus on the tourism decision-making behavior and its influencing factors, tourism demand and behavior characteristics, the design of the tourism product for parent-child families and so on, shows a lack of research on the parent-child's common recreation behavior in city parks. At the same time, a targeted study on the parent-child family which is an important tourist group of city parks is deficient in the research of the city parks' recreation opportunity satisfaction. On the other hand, the existing research on the construction of the city parks' recreation opportunity spectrum most just put parentchild families as a member of family groups. According to the different characteristics of parent-child family and the classification of city park's recreation opportunities, this article constructs a structural equation model of influencing factors of parent-child recreation opportunity satisfaction in city parks based on the questionnaire design and survey in Beijing Olympic Forest Park. The result of the study turns out that among the two potential variables of travel motivation and reachability degree which influence the parent-child's satisfaction of physical environment, social environment and government environment of city parks, the travel motivation has a bigger influence on the satisfaction of physical environment and social environment while the reachability degree has a bigger influence on the satisfaction of government environment.
