AN ANALYSIS OF THE SPATIAL STRUCTURE OF AGRITAINMENT TOURISM AND THE PROMOTION OF ITS FORM BASED ON THE THEORY OF URBAN DAILY SYSTEM

Abstract With the increasing of the requirements of rural tourism, agritainment tourism develops rapidly with its unique spatial structure. With the promotion of urbanization in the post-industrial era, the life style and patters of consumption in China experience tremendous change, which result in the emergence of new tourism demands. Among these trends, Rural Tourism, which with entirely different life styles from the city, went through especially quick development. In this context, city and rural, the two tourism regional systems, experience exchange and mergence continuously. Under the influence of daily urban system, the construction of the tourism space of agritainment in the conjunction area of urban and rural becomes the centre of rural tourism structure. Most of the study on rural tourism and agritainment tourism in China were about the development and significance of the research on the field, the trends of the development abroad and its application in China, problems on the development of products and solutions, operation and management systems, development models and strategies, et al. Few of these studies were about its spatial structure, among which none of the study mentions the spatial structure the model of agritainment tourism under the integrated space system of urban and rural from the perspective of daily urban system. This paper considers the construction of "urban-rural tourism space" in the conjunction area of urban and rural as the centre of the structure of rural tourism, and raises the functional structure of the space of agritainment tourism and six corresponding models based on the idea of "Daily Urban System". These results were applied to the advancing and developing planning of agritainment tourism in Lantian County, which could provide thoughts and methods for the agritainment tourism planning and development in China.
