Abstract Senic uegetation is available for tourism and clecorates the scenic spots. This paper, for the first time, discusses the concept of scenic vegetation, and analyzes the scenery forming on a large scale and the nature of micro-scale. information of sicenie vegetation. In the end, taking Lingtong tourist area of Xi'an as an example, it proposes a scenic vegetation classification system.
