1800—1945年长春市街道命名的文化政治阐释——基于葛兰西霸权理论的视角

Abstract The academic circles of foreign culture and geography have made a critical reformulation towards the study of traditional toponymy since the 1980s, and the political process in place naming has become the core topic of research. In 2017, Changchun was listed as a historical and cultural city by the State Council, that further affirming its historical and cultural values. In order to correctly handle the relationship between urban construction and the protection of historical and cultural heritage, it is of great significance to dig deep into the historical and cultural connotations of the city. In the current study, the critical theory of toponymy was used for analyzing the street naming process of Changchun from the year 1800 to 1945. The main results are:1) Under the intervention of capitalist power, the naming of Changchun's streets presents the results of the combination of naming method, power and power source. 2) The intervention of power and the resistance of the people made the name of Changchun street a cultural battlefield for political competition. 3) After the "September 18th" incident, Japanese imperialism realized that the acquisition of leadership was not a simple conveyance of ideology. Overall, the current research is expected to provide a new perspective and new theoretical basis for the protection and planning of urban pattern in Changchun city.
