Abstract With the prevalence of humanism, the interaction of resident's daily activity and urban spatial structure is becoming the new focus of urban study. Meanwhile the quality of life becomes more and more important. These new changes bring about this article, which takes time-geography as the framework. The analysis is based on the activity diary survey of Shenzhen citizens from five different communities. First the article tells about the common characters of Shenzhen citizens' time-use structure on workday. Then thought cluster analysis the samples were classified into six types, which appear different time-space structures of daily activity. Furthermore the time-space structures of Shenzhen citizens' daily activity at different communities also have difference with each other. These analyses not only make a clear description of the Shenzhen resident's daily activities, but also find a new thought of the urban planning.
