Abstract this paper explores into theoretic research of the prelude space prevailing in the tourism area, taking the landscape area as a target. Those are discussed as following: what is the concept of prelude space, which elements constitute this kind of space and how to plan it, using the means of spatial analysis of geography and referring to achievements in other fields. In the end, a case study is focused on Wunushan landscape area in Liaoning Province.
