Abstract：The importance of studies on the traditional geomancy has been recognized by some scholars since the second half of 20th century. These studies include the geomantic connotation and its operational way. The modernization of geomantic omen is becoming the goal of scholars and a few of geomancers. As a spatial organizational study, the geomacy takes the "xingfa" (form-geomancy) having a new understanding, and takes the "lifa" (physio-geomancy)and "Rifa" (time-geomancy)as a dynamic study. The geomantic studies from a plot to a region have greater applicational values. The analyses of geomantic connotation should depend on the "zhouyi", and use the "Xiangshufa" to demonstrate. If the geomantic omen was considered in regional tourist exploitation (the introduction to visitors or the landscape planning), the tourism would have greater attractivities to editors, and the buildings would have greater vaines.
