Abstract：Firstly this paper analysis the characteristics of urban tourist planning and urban planning, and also discusses the close relation between urban tourist planning and urban planning. Then the authors think that urban tourist planning must be in the guild of urban planning, and urban planning should consider the demands of urban tourist planning and meet the needs of urban tourist development also.
