Abstract：The underdeveloped regions in west China have abundant natural resources and great potentialities for economic growth. It is objective that selecting the transformation model of natural resources as the economic growth pattern in these regions. However,the tranditional transformation model of natural resources has hindered sustainable development of regional society and economy seriously. Based on the systematic thinking of superiority of natural resources,technological structure of resources development,mechanism of benefit distribution and transformation model of resource,the author puts forward some conceptions to improve the transformation model of regional natural resources.
