Abstract：Fujian is one of the major provinces in China with a lot of overseas Chinese. Since the reform and open policy,the success in social and economic development has been achieved in Fujian. It should be closely related to the positive role played by overseas Chinese,particularly by the great number of Taiwan compatriots originating from Fujian. This superiority of Fujian for the development is based on its geoeconomics. However the more important agent is its geoculture. Hence,the author tries hard through analising the geoculture characteristics of Fujian to deepen the understanding of superiority of overseas Chinese hometown,then discusses those theoretical and pratical problems with developing the geocultural resource and fortering the superiority of overseas Chinese hometown areas.
