Abstract：Four times alienation of Man-Earth relationship have been occurred in the history of human beings, indicated by the use of tools, agricultural revolution, civilisation, and industrial revolution. Modern Man-Earth system, composed of natural environment, created environment, social environment and the man is the result of the four times alienation. The socalled Man-earth relationship should include to all relationships among the natural environment, created environment, social environment and the man in the system.The Man-Earth system is driven by natural environment, technical and social factors. The balances of resources(natural environment), production(Created environment) and consumption(the man) are the key of the system. The research on the Man-Earth system is focused on the mechanism of the driving forces of the system and the interatction inner the system. The researches of Global Changes, Sustainable Development and Inter National Decade for Natural Disaster Reduction are represent the current proprieties of Man-Earth System research.
