ANALYSIS OF THE TOWN'S ENVIRONMENT FOR DEVELOPING IN TIBET

Abstract：This article analyzed outstanding characteristics in the natural environment, historic and cultural background, and social economic environment of town's development in Tibet.According to this, the author puts forward seven aspects of problem that the town's development should pay attention to, and the way of solving these problems. The Tibet's natural environment are quite poor. The limit from the natural environment was the source that Tibet fallen behind. It had leaped over several historical stages of development from slave society to socialism society. All sorts of foundation were very poor. There are characteristic local cultures, and the influence from religion was very deep, especially the negative influence. These have an effect on Tibet's local culture, and interact its development in peoples ideology. The outside force to develop is obvious. Even though Tibet's economy has made bigger progress in past years, but the economical foundation is very weak now. The tow n's development and location in Tibet must take these particularities of every environment factor into account. The town's development must going based on the safeguard of environment; develop the port town based on the border safety; protect the region characteristics and nation cultures in town's development; and carry forward the infrastructure's building energetically. Tibet must exploit superior resources, choose the dominant industry which has characteristics of Tibet, and carry out the non-equilibration stratagem of town's development.
