DISCUSSION ON THE INFLUENCE OF THE CULTURE IN SOUTH OF THE FIVE RIDGES ON COLONIES OF OTHER PROVINCES LIVING IN GUANGDONG |

Abstract Since 1978, Guang-Dong have been turned into the locomotive of economic development of the whole country and testing ground of reform and opening. Its status rising steadily, and has made more and more influence on the whole country especially thousands upon thousands persons of other provinces living in Guang-Dong. Therefore, discussing on the feature of the influence of the South of the Five Ridges culture on the colonies of other provinces living in Guang-Dong, summing up the law of the influence, promoting organic interchange and fusion of both sides, have important realistic significance. From the cultural geography point of view, on the basis of cultur investigation questionnaire, this paper applied the methodology of combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis, discuss on the feature of the affection of the South of the Five Ridges' culture on colonies of other provinces living in Guang-Dong. The authors found that in the course of collision and conformity of South of the Five Ridges culture on all kinds of local culture besides it, for instance the Yangtze River valley culture and the Yellow River valley culture, because these cultures have been profound inside information of history and culture. Therefore the general characteristics of the affection of the South of the Five Ridges culture with regard to the colonies of other provinces living in Guang-Dong is osculating. The colony of the South of China besides Guang-Dong and the male colony are easier in taking on the South of he Five Ridges culture than the colony of north of China and the female colony. On the basis of the analysis, the authors further summed up some conclusions:In the early phase of cultural diffusion, the ejection is apparent if one kind of culture is up against other kind of culture being equivalent to it; acceptance is predominant rather than ejection about influencing each other on cultures of surface layer, etc.
