Abstract The ecotourism region system is a special man-land system according to man-land relationship. The motion condition of the system is estimated by entropy of the system. The entropy of ecotourism region system is calculated by the difference between absolute value of the plus entropy brought from the disorder of human activities and absolute value of the negative entropy produced by eco-environment carrying capacity. The evaluation and model of the disorder of man movements and eco-environment carrying capacity are set up in the research. The entropy of ecotourism region system is counted with the way of simplifying the system structure relationship. The function state of Ecotourism region system is analyzed by it. The human activities include the activities of tourists, inhabitants, local community and tourism industry. The disorder of human activities is evaluated with 27 indexes from the activities. The eco-environment carrying capacity is calculated with 8 indexes from the nature basis, ecosystem, water resources and atmosphere environment. The evolvement direction and the sustainable development capacity are estimated by the entropy change of ecotourism region system which is the difference between the entropy change of the disorder of man movements and the one of eco-environment carrying capacity in time range at last.
