QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS OF ECONOMIC SPATIAL POLARIZATION AND DRIVING FACTORS IN THE NORTHEAST OF CHINA |

Abstract This paper uses some of the related analysis methods for reference to comprehensively analyze the regional economic differences and the spatial polarization of the Northeast of China and their inner areas The result shows that:(1) the regional economic development appears spatial polarization,and on the whole,it appears weaker in the north and stronger in the south; (2) Ha-Chang economic zone and central-south of Liaoning economic zone have initially taken shape,while central-south of Liaoning economic zone has begun to play a role in diffusion effects; (3) the order and its changes of the regional economic development show that the development centre has gradually moved to the south; (4) on the wholly,the evolution trend of the regional differences and spatial polarization have a common that ascending at first and reducing at last,but the whole level has increased; (5) the multivariable linear regression model indicates that these driving factors have a different effect degrees,the role of trend,but the gross industrial output value and the productivity of staffs are the same factors that dominant the Northeast of China and its inner areas' regional spatial polarization. From this perspective,the three northeastern provinces and internal regions achieve integrated development should break up present industrial system which takes state-own enterprises as a main manifestation,takes heavy chemical industry as main contents,takes old industrial bases as basic point to layout,and develop township enterprises,private economy and light industry,from pattern,content and form to achieve it.
