Abstract：Frontier trade has become an important pillar in the foreign trade of Xinjiang. Through the elaboration of the concept and form of frontier trade, authors give a brief account of its developmental present situation in Xinjiang, ewpound its position, analysis the favourable and unfavourable condition of developing frontief trade, and put forward some countermeasures at last.
