Abstract:Xinjiang locates in the north-west of China, belongs to typical fragile environment. The factors which result in the fragile environment are not only environmental factors; economic factors can always affect the evolvement of environment frangibility. Consequently, classifying the fragile environment within fifteen states of Xinjiang from two angles of environment and economy can provide scientific gist for implementing economic construction policy effectively.
Based on the facts of Xinjiang, This article classifies the fragile environment including fifteen states in Xinjiang. Firstly, select a series of environmental and economic factors typically and establish the index system, then calculate the environmental fragile degrees of fifteen states by using fragile degree model; base on economic factors and make use of cluster analysis to classify the economic situation of fifteen states. According to the results, we can draw the conclusion of the integrative classification of fragile environment in Xinjiang. The first are Urumqi and Shihezi city; the second are Karamay city, Turpan area and Bazhou; the third is Hami area; the forth is Ili area; the fifth are Tacheng and Altay area, Bortala state, Changji state; the last are Kashi, Hetian, Aksu area and kezhou. The first-rate areas, including Urumqi and Shihezi city, have batter environment, developed transportation, and preponderant economic location. The secondary areas can divide into two categories, one kind is the area which has wicked environment, but finer economic location and abundant natural resources, such as Karamay city, Turpan area and Bazhou; the another kind is the area, for example, Ili area, which environment is excellent but the location is worse. The low-grade areas, such as Kashi,Hetian, Aksu area and kezhou, not only have exceedingly fragile environment, but also have out-of-the-way position and worse transportation. Therefore, the area, which has excellent location and nicer environment or rich natural resource, has the most potential and should be developed preferentially.
