Abstract:The 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing will take the tourism of China to a new place. The effect of tourism brand, the improvement of transportation infrastructure, the increasing tourist market, the enhancing of environment, the increasing tourism products and so on will come along with the Olympic Games. In order to grasp the opportunity and fully utilize our region advantages, we must regulate our tourism strategy. First, we should deeply dig the tourism potential of Olympic Games within the capacity of our tourism resources to avoid too much pressures imposed on tourism resources which can result in unnecessary loss. Second, we should meet the international tourist's needs under the concern of the national tourist's needs. Third, we should cultivate core tourism cities, which are based on the establishment of multilevel tourism cities system in large scale, and then almost the whole country, will develop multilevel products to share the tourism market around the Olympic Games. Last, we should construct the Olympic Games tourism circle of China in the model of "one core, multi central district, and five circle share together", and the five circles are as follows:the north tourism circle containing old cities having plenty of historic sites and profound urban culture, the east tourism circle which is the place the old Orient culture and the modern city shake their hands, the south tourism circle where not only has the most opening economy in China, but also has the most beautiful tropic scenes, the middle southwest tourism circle composed of steeply mountains?clear rivers and many laborious minority, the west tourism circle marked with a lot of supernatural scenes. Through carrying out the multilevel products strategy, to build up symbolized and international tourism brand which has the strong characteristic of Chinese. Through carrying out the strategy of traffic network, we can make aviation becoming the optimal selection in the tourism stream of the Olympic Games. Through carrying out the information strategy, we can accelerate the construction of "Digital Beijing" and "Digital China", to build up the information network of tourism resources in China and provide information service throughout the whole procedure. Through carrying out the regional cooperation strategy, the big scale strategy, and the sustainable development strategy to build big scale tourism group, share the tourism information and tourism market, to great extent, the tourism companies of China will become stronger and the tourism in China will benefit from 2008 Olympics.
