Abstract：During the development of the past 20 years.there have appeared lots of megapolis in the world.In the developed countries,renewed city centers and new regional nodes constitute the space base of the cities that are on the tiptop level among the inter-country city system.Increasing evidences indicate that population growing will happen in the megapolis area with a great proportion.M oreover,with the development of the economic globalization,most of the city systems in developing countries will be likely dominated by megapolis area.In the new global economy an d the gleam information society.there does exist a new space form which is the very Mega-city developing in the various societies and reglonal skeletons.Megapolis is no longer a concept about a single city in the traditional sense.On the other hand,as a new regional urban space, it is becoming a complex reglonal integration that is constituted by new node networks and transport networks in its location.Megapolise.a spatial form ofurban systems such as megapolis corridor have a long history in spatial an urban planning.Megapolis corridor,as bun dles of infrastructure,as a planning concept,as a core of reglonal development has discussed.Also,we discussed the problem ofmegapolis corridor and its planning an dgoveman ce.
