Abstract：In the islands where there are residents among the Dongtou archipelago, there are two dialects-WU language (wenzhowhua) and min language (minnanhua). Based on migration of population and change of administrative area and geographical environment of islands etc, the thesis analyzes the distribution characteristics and the shaping of dialect. At the same time, it also analyses the distribution status of dialects and shape "dialect island" in the adjacent Yuhuan island.
