LAND-USE RESPONDENCE TO ITS SUB-URBANIZATION IN GAOLAN COUNTY

Abstract：Sub urbanization is a stage of developing metropolis. There are close relationships between sub urbanization and land use. As a suburban county of Lanzhou city, Gaolan has its unique characteristics, so, it is significant to study on sub urbanization of Gaolan county. Combined theories with quantitative analysis and by establishing a system of land use indexes, this paper paid more attention to development of land use in the process of sub urbanization of Gaolan. Based on the system, the whole land of the county was divided into three types of regions. Further more, the characteristics of land use development were also discussed.
