《人文地理》(HUMAN GEOGRAPHY)是由中国地理学会与西安外国语大学联合创办的我国唯一注册命名“人文地理”的期刊，是专门研究人文地理学的综合性学术期刊，并面向国内外公开发行。本刊主要刊发在我国人文地理学领域具有创新性研究的学术论文和科研成果，力求及时反映我国人文地理学研究的新理论、新观点和新方法。主要栏目有：进展与动态、文化、城市、社会、经济、旅游、政治等。
　　自1986年创刊以来，《人文地理》始终坚持开放办刊、追踪理论前沿与学术动态、关注热点问题的宗旨。在编委会、编辑部及广大作者的共同努力下，《人文地理》期刊成为国际地理联合会文化地理研究会中国期刊、中国社会科学引文索引来源（CSSCI）期刊、中国人文科学核心期刊、中国中文核心期刊、中国地理科学核心期刊、全国高校文科学报研究会优秀期刊。

HUMAN GEOGRAPHY, co-founded by the Geographical Society of China (GSC) and Xi’an International Studies University (XISU), is the only registered scholarly journal in China focusing on the dynamic cultural, urban, social, economic, tourism and political aspects of human geography studies.  HUMAN GEOGRAPHY provides researchers, educators and professionals with high quality peer-reviewed multidisciplinary researches to reflect up-to-date theories, key insights and innovative research methods in China.

Since its founding in 1986, the editorial board, the editors and the numerous scholars have spared no efforts to follow the theory front, academic achievements and the hot issues in the field of human geography. Because of its academic influence, HUMAN GEOGRAPHY has been recognized as a key Chinese journal by “IGU Commission on the Cultural Approach in Geography”, a source of Chinese Social Science Citation Information, a core journal in Chinese in the sciences of humanities and geography. It is awarded the Excellent Journal by National Society of Liberal Arts Journals of Higher Education in China.
