Abstract The Northeaster region is one of the most important industrial bases in china and had made great contribution for the Chinese industrial construction. But this old industrial base has dropped behind after Chinese reforming and opening to the world. There are a lot of problems in the base now, such as the benefit of its industrial corporation declining, increasing of unemployment people, and so on. So it needs urgently to be revived. The industrial tourism has obvious positive effect in widening employment and pushing adjustment of industrial structure. It will be helpful for the revival of the old industrial base in Northeaster to develop industrial tourism in a full new view.
Many and various ways should be taken in order to revive the old industrial region in Northeaster. Developing industrial tourism is one of the important methods. There are a lot of advantages to develop industrial tourism in Northeaster region. There are rich resources of industrial tourism in this area. Here is the foremost industrial base that was established by the People's Republic of China. So this created an excellent condition for developing industrial tourism for this area. At the same time, this area will be benefited through developing industrial tourism.
Developing industrial tourism has great significance for the revival of the old industrial base. It can provide more work place for the unemployment people, such as tourist guide, shop assist, hotel and restaurant waiters and waitresses, and so on. It can build up a good image of the corporation and the city since the corporation has to deal with its pollution and provide a beautiful environment in order to develop industrial tourism. The industrial tourism will make pushing effect to the corporation in improving producing technology and adjusting its industrial structure. Furthermore the corporation may develop new industrial products following the suggestions of the tourists. So through all above the corporations and cities in Northeaster region will restore energy and the old industrial base will be revived.
