Abstract  The number of traditional village has reduced in recent years, most of them are facing the danger of disappearance without protection and inheritance. The article takes 170 traditional villages of urban agglomeration in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River as the object and adopts Arcgis10.2 software spatial analysis technology. Explore the spatial distribution characteristics of the traditional village which adopted the method of kernel density estimation. The article used leading edge geographical spatial measure GWR regression model. it analyzes important factors affect the level of accessibility of urban agglomeration of traditional villages and consider the concrete influence degree space alienation. The research findings are as follow:1) the traditional villages of urban agglomeration in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River mainly located in southeast, while less in the northwest. 2) the accessibility analysis indicates that the traditional villages of urban agglomeration in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River's travel time cost is high. 3) the traditional villages of urban agglomeration in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River mainly distribute along the tributary of Yangtze River. 4) Terrain height and level of road network to the positive role of traditional village accessibility level, Adjacent river distance of traditional villages are negatively related accessibility level, slope and no significant impact on the accessibility.
