CHINESE CENTRAL CITIES PRODUCER SERVICE INDUSTRY EXTERNAL SERVICE CAPABILITIES SPATIAL DISTRIBUTION AND ITS RELATIONS WITH MANUFACTURING

Abstract:In this paper, we use the concept of urban flow to describe the basic economic activity and external function in a city, and use urban flow intensity represent the quantitative index of city external service capability. By this means, we comprehensive analysis the Chinese central cities producer service industry external service capabilities scale distributing and its spatial distribution change.The spatial distribution of the productive service capacity is eastern coastal cluster extent greater than inland area, economic developed area is higher than the less developed region, and national central cities agglomerate coexists with the provincial region central cities agglomerate. Central cities producer service capacities are highly concentrated in Beijing, Shanghai, provincial capital and its deputy central cities. Research shows, the producer service and manufacturing intensity has obvious regional spatial combination relations which producer service central agglomerate with the manufacturing hinterland product.
