PRELIMINARY RESEARCH ON TYPES OF RELATIVELY DEVELOPED VILLAGE-LEVEL ECONOMY IN CHINA——A Case Study of 55 Sample Villages as the Top 10 Well-off Villages in the Past Years

Abstract：The exploration on the development types of village-level economy is one of the most important topics in national development strategy. Based on the quantitative analysis of rural social-economic development and investigation of different villages in China, the paper analyzes the internal evolution mechanism of various types of village-level economy, to establish the sustainable development theory of rural areas. 55 well developed villages are studied and conclusions are drawn as the followings:Firstly, to improve local economic development level, most villages converted the traditional planting industry into the seven models of economic development proposed in the paper Secondly, different types of village-level economy apparently vary from Eastern Part to West Part of China. Thirdly, level of the whole economy strength and diversity of economy types in Eastern Part of China are higher than that in Central and West Part of China. In addition, because of the stimulation measures of environment improvement by Eastern Part of China, village-level economic development suffers from relative flections.Also, the paper analyzes the deep mechanism of village-level economy by using system environment, technological progress, market-driven forces, the capital operation, natural resources exploitation, other factors and their interaction. Finally, the paper provides some suggestions for the construction of new socialist rural areas and the comprehensive construction of a well-off society from a micro-perspective with local conditions on the human-oriented notion.
