Abstract：Urban-rural development and rational evolution of urban-rural relationship of a certain region constitute the whole frame of regional sustainable development.In order to bring to light the relationship between sustainable development and urban-rural development, From logical and practical point of view, according to the principle of appropriateness, the paper not only puts forward intensional development of urban, existence and orderly development of rural but also analysises rational evolution of urban-rural relationship from tendency and network of spatial relationship etc.
