Abstract：From the point of view of status quo and the future of urban land-use of China, the paper suggests that the main challenges which the urban land-use is facing at the turn of the centuries are rapid urbanization, extensive urban land-use, disequilibrium of mechanism of urban land-use and illurban land-use structure.Some corresponding countermeasures concerned are then brought out on the base of the challenges and specific national conditions of China.
