1 FROM INDIFFERENCE TO AWAKENING: THE RETHINK OF WESTERN TOURISM STUDIES ON BODY
CAI Shao-yan, TAO Wei
During the last few decades there has been a pronounced "turn to the body" within humanities and social sciences. As an important part of humanities and social studies, tourism research must have a dialogue with other disciplines on the methodological significance of performance, embodiment, affect and emotion. However, studies of the body and embodiment in tourism research, especially domestic tourism are lacking. Since the 1990s, western tourism scholars have begun to pay attention to body studies. The body provides a new research perspective and paradigm for tourism research, which is increasingly concerned by western tourism scholars. "body, embodiment and emotion" have gradually become one of the seven major topics in current western tourism studies. Using literature analysis, this article comprehensively analyzes western tourism studies on body based on literature search from academic databases. The development stage and characteristics of western tourism studies on body were then summarized. The research progress in tourism studies on body were analyzed from five aspects of body and tourist destination image representation, body politics and sex tourism, medical tourism, body performance and tourism festivals, body sense and tourism landscape, embodiment and tourist experience. We argue that the body in tourism research is not only constructed by discourse, but also practiced and experienced. Finally, this article proposes the path and framework of tourism research on body, and further proposes the future research areas. This article seeks to enrich the interdisciplinary research of the body in domestic tourism discipline.

13 PROGRESS OF LINGUISTIC LANDSCAPE FROM THE PROSPETIVE OF SPACE PRACTICE AND PLACE SUBJECTIVITY
ZHANG Ai-heng, SUN Jiu-xia
Linguistic landscape attracts academic attentions as an inter-disciplines study object. The paper utilizes subjectivity of place theory to review linguistic landscape studies. Based on the analytical frame of constructive actors, the review generalizes the previous research into three categories according to the main actors in the process of building linguistic landscape, which are namely "state and government", "private sectors" and "interaction of multi-actors". Linguistic landscape takes place as both mediator and consequences of space practices, which varies according to different purposes of constructive actors. These purposes may be to discipline others, to represent own identity, to oppress others or to resist the authority. Top-down linguistic policy in linguistic landscape represents the disciplinary role of authority to the public. On the other hand, individual actors built multi-cultural linguistic landscapes representing variety of placeness. These actors express their own identity and resist otherness via the practice of constructing linguistic landscapes, which leads bottom-up direction of power in the constructing process.

20 REVIEW OF OVERSEA STUDIES ON CHILDREN'S INDEPENDENT MOBILITY AND IMPLICATIONS
MENG Xue, LI Ling-ling, FU Ben-chen
Children's independent mobility is a crucial indicator to measure children's capacity of mobility. Numerous studies have confirmed that children's independent mobility might have positive impacts on physical activity promotion, obesity prevention, social interaction, etc. It is critical for children's healthy development and grown up. Furthermore, in the community and social level, some other positive outcomes of higher children's independent mobility would also be obtained, including easing traffic pressure, ecological and environmental benefits as well as social sustainability. However, recent studies have shown that children's independent mobility has been declining tremendously for decades. Thus researchers abroad have paid great attention to children's independent mobility and made efforts to do in-depth studies on the influencing factors and children's independent mobility promotion interventions. This study aims to summarize the oversea studies on children's independent mobility and then provide references for future studies and practices in China. Firstly, the concept and distinctiveness of children's independent mobility were identified. Secondly, the influencing factors and their impacts in theoretical and empirical research were summarized. The conceptual models of the factors influencing children's independent mobility were introduced and the influencing factors in empirical research, including built environment, social environment, family environment and children themselves, and their effects were outlined and discussed. Thirdly, the measures of children's independent mobility were summed up and analyzed. In addition, potential applications and some interventions for children's independent mobility promotion were illustrated.

32 THE COLOR PERCEPTION AND COLOR MEANING AWARENESS ANALYSIS OF ARCHITECTURES FOR URBAN CONTEXT PLANNING: A CASE OF THE FORBIDDEN CITY IN BEIJING
ZHOU Shang-yi, SU Xian
The Beijing Urban Master Plan(2016-2035) proposes to maintain the style and diversity of urban architectures. Protecting the color context of the city is one of the tasks. This study believes that the purpose of this task is to protect the cultural meaning of color context for people. The research question of this case study comes from the perspective of new cultural geography on landscape meanings. Our study takes the Forbidden City in Beijing as the research area. It uses an experiment of eye tracking to investigate interviewees' perception of landscape color, and conducts structured interview to gain their understanding of the color meaning. The three results are gained through the two methods. First, although we control the attributes of the testees or interviewees as same as possible in multiple dimensions, the characteristics of their color perception and cognition or awareness of color meaning still have differences between individuals. Second, there is no statistically significant correlation between B-value (the concentration of fixation that a testee's sight gazes on AOI), C-value (the time that a testee's sight gets into AOI from the test starting), D-value (the time that a testee's sight gazes on AOI) and A-value (the color meaning awareness level of the Forbidden City). Third, some interviewees come out with different color meanings from that in traditional culture or collective culture. The conclusion is that the eye movement index cannot fully explain the interviewees' understanding of color meaning, and most of them have collectivist/interdependent on color meaning.

40 CULTURAL AND POLITICAL INTERPRETATION OF STREET NAMING IN CHANGCHUN DURING 1800 TO 1945: BASED ON GRAMSCI'S HEGEMONY THEORY
FENG Jing, YANG Qing-shan, LIU Jian, JIANG Xiao-jun
The academic circles of foreign culture and geography have made a critical reformulation towards the study of traditional toponymy since the 1980s, and the political process in place naming has become the core topic of research. In 2017, Changchun was listed as a historical and cultural city by the State Council, that further affirming its historical and cultural values. In order to correctly handle the relationship between urban construction and the protection of historical and cultural heritage, it is of great significance to dig deep into the historical and cultural connotations of the city. In the current study, the critical theory of toponymy was used for analyzing the street naming process of Changchun from the year 1800 to 1945. The main results are:1) Under the intervention of capitalist power, the naming of Changchun's streets presents the results of the combination of naming method, power and power source. 2) The intervention of power and the resistance of the people made the name of Changchun street a cultural battlefield for political competition. 3) After the "September 18th" incident, Japanese imperialism realized that the acquisition of leadership was not a simple conveyance of ideology. Overall, the current research is expected to provide a new perspective and new theoretical basis for the protection and planning of urban pattern in Changchun city.

47 THE INFLUENCE OF INTRA-GROUP COMMUNICATION ON THE RESIDENTS' SENSE OF COMMUNITY IN THE DEMOLITION AND RESETTLEMENT COMMUNITY AROUND DEVELOPMENT ZONE: A CASE STUDY ON X COMMUNITY AROUND KUNSHAN ECONOMIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT ZONE
KONG Xiang, SONG Zhi-xian
Newly-built demolition and resettlement communities around the development zones mainly inhabit local landless farmers and migrant workers. They all urgently need to establish sense of community to adapt to the great changes on their production method and life style. Based on the investigation on residents in the X community around Kunshan Economic and Technological Development Zone, this paper mainly discussed the influence of intra-group communication on residents' sense of community. It shows that most residents around the development zone indeed have the tendency of intra-group communication, and their sense of community are generally at a low level. The results of multiple regression analysis proved that the intragroup communication tendency have a negative impact on the residents' sense of community, and the negative impact on the migrant residents is more significant. Due to the complex conflict caused by the land expropriation and demolition, local residents' intra-group communication also has a negative impact on their sense of community, while the intra-group communication of the migrant residents helps them adapt to the challenges of the new place and thus has a positive impact on their sense of community.

54 THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PLACE DEVELOPMENT AND RESIDENTS' SENSE OF PLACE: A CASE STUDY OF LIZHIWAN HISTORIC DISTRICT, GUANGZHOU
CHU Han, XIE Di-xiang, CHANG Jiang
In the globalization era, the boundaries between global and local places are increasingly blurred. The relationship between place and residents are also increasingly influenced by the rapid economic development. The globalization and rapid economic development have led to a global sense of place, which regards the place as an open and dynamically changing system. This paper aims to investigate how residents' sense of place would change with the development of the place under the situation that the place is more and more open. Based on grounded theory, we conducted in-depth interviews with 30 local residents to understand their perception of the physical and social changes in Lizhiwan historic district and the trajectories of local residents' sense of place since the 1940s. This paper analyzes in-depth interviews data in MAXQDA software and investigates the impacts of physical and social changes on residents' sense of place in Lizhiwan historical district. We find that the residents' sense of place is largely affected by ecological environment, construction and ancillary services, collective memory, types of activities, interpersonal relationships, etc.

63 EXPLORING SHRINKING AREAS IN CHINA AVAILING OF CITY DEVELOPMENT INDEX
YANG Zhen-shan, YANG Ding
After centuries of continuous development of world urban civilization, rapid urbanization and economic growth have become the "standard development path" commonly pursued by global cities, but the path is no longer realistic, unsustainable and universality in some areas due to the influential including the slowdown of global economic growth and the impact of local economic crisis. Considering the multiple dimension of shrinking cities, this paper construct city development index from two dimensions of society and economy, and use the entropy method to measure the development score. And then taking counties and urban districts as a basic unit in analysis and analyzing the data during 2000 to 2010, this paper explores the shrinking area in China by comparing the scores of two years, and its distribution and socio-economic characteristics are analyzed. The results indicate that:1) Counties shrink against the backdrop of fast urbanization in China, globalization, resource exhaustion, housing market decline and other factors. 2) There are 261 shrinking units in 2349 counties and urban districts in China, and most of which are small and medium-sized towns with small population. 3) The shrinking counties in China have some common characteristics:the population and density declining, the aging deepening, the medical and health conditions poor, the economic development slow, the fiscal deficit serious, and the shrinking degree of shrinking counties in China relatively small.

73 SPATIAL DIFFERENTIATION OF URBAN ECONOMIC ELASTICITY AND ITS INFLUENCING FACTORS IN NORTHEAST CHINA
ZHANG Shuai, WANG Cheng-xin, Li Bo
Urban economic elasticity is the inherent embodiment of sustainable development of urban economy. Northeast China is a concentrated area of resource-exhausted cities. Mineral resources are facing exhaustion and cities are facing transformation pressure. Moreover, the industrial structure is too heavy, the loss of human resources is serious, and the sustainable development of urban economy is facing severe challenges. To carry out the study of urban economic elasticity is conducive to the transformation and development of cities, and is an inevitable prerequisite for the sustainable development of urban economy. The level of urban economic elasticity, its absorptive capacity, recovery capacity and transformation capacity are evaluated by using the method of entropy and multi-index comprehensive evaluation, and the influencing factors of urban economic elasticity are studied by means of grey correlation analysis. It is concluded that the economic structure has the greatest impact on the urban economic elasticity, followed by the economic scale, environmental conditions, human resources and economic density. The economic growth rate and the natural resources condition have less impact on the urban economic elasticity.

81 STUDY ON THE QUALITY OF COMMUNITY LIVING SPACE IN URBAN PUBLIC RENTAL HOUSING: TAKING XI'AN AS A CASE
DUAN Zhao-wen, WANG Xiao-qiang, ZHANG Ting-wei, CHEN Dan-qing
The study on the quality of life in urban community space is an important part of new humanism in urban scientific research. Based on the concept of the quality of urban social living space as the research framework, this paper evaluates the quality of urban public rental housing community (low-income community) living space from the two dimensions of material environment (community space location, community resource availability) and people-oriented cognition of community residents. The study found that the spatial layout of public rental housing in Xi'an is relatively remote and the characteristics of agglomeration are obvious; Xi'an public rental housing community has a certain spatial deprivation phenomenon in terms of the availability of community resources (education, commercial, hospital and recreation resources). except for educational resources, hospital, commercial and recreation resources are all in a low availability state. The research on the people-oriented cognition of public rental housing community residents found that the community residents were less satisfied with the housing area, housing quality, property management, and community greening of public rental housing. And the sense of community belonging was not strong. To sum up, the overall living space quality level of Xi'an public rental housing community is not high. This paper is a concrete application of the concept of quality of urban social living space in the study of specific types of communities, which deepens the understanding of the quality of life space in low-income communities and provides theoretical reference for the sustainable development of such community planning and community management.

89 THE DYNAMIC STRATEGIC COUPLINGS OF GLOBAL PRODUCTION NETWORKS (GPNS) AND REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT: COMPARISON ON FIRM-LEVEL VALUE CAPTURE TRAJECTORIES BETWEEN SUBEI AND SUNAN
XU Hai-ying, ZHOU Chao
This article addresses GPN 2.0 in economic geography. There are significant differences between GPN 2.0 and GPN 1.0 in the explanation on regional development mechanisms. GPN 2.0 divides strategic couplings into 3 modes including structural coupling, functional coupling and indigenous coupling. For GPN 2.0, the coupling processing between GPNs and regions from a low-level to a high-level successfully is the driving force for regional development rather than the simple coupling in GPN 1.0 framework. And there is often a dominant mode of strategic couplings that can be used to characterize regional development trajectories. Thus, GPN 2.0 aims to analyze firm-level value capture trajectories from the vertical (organizational-) and horizontal (spatial-) dimensions in order to examine the coupling modes in different regions. 62 Koreaninvested firms sourcing from the automotive industry in Jiangsu province are selected to make empirical research on firm-level value capture trajectories using the GPN 2.0 analysis framework. And we make some comparison of coupling modes between North Jiangsu (Subei) and South Jiangsu (Sunan). There are some findings as follows:1) Subei is in the stage of ‘structural coupling’. That the GPN of KIA Motor touched down on the ground has shaped an automotive industry cluster in Subei. 2) Sunan is in the stage of ‘functional coupling’. 40 firms in Sunan are captured by multi-sourcing GPNs (both Korean motor and Non-Korean motor) outside the region.

97 STUDY ON SPATIAL DIFFERENTIATION OF HOUSING PRICE DISTRIBUTION AND ITS INFLUENCING FACTORS IN CHANGCHUNs
ZHAO Zi-yu, WANG Xue-wei, WANG Shi-jun
The housing price problem has always been widely concerned by the society. The residential price of a city often has its unique spatial distribution characteristics, which has triggered a series of geographical phenomena and geographical problems worthy of further discussion. Therefore the spatial-temporal evolution and spatial differentiation of urban housing price is an important research topic in urban geography. Based on the continuous year residential price data, using space hotspot analysis and geo-weighted regression model, this paper studies the spatial differentiation of residential price distribution and the spatial heterogeneity of the distribution of residential price influencing factors since 2011 in Changchun. The conclusions are as followed:1)Judging from the development process of residential space in Changchun city, with the rapid expansion of the city and the advancement of transportation facilities, the living space has a "discrete" trend. 2) Since 2011, the price of Changchun housing has shown the spatial characteristics of fan-shaped growth of the southern sector, the high-priced residential blocks spread from the point-like distribution to the flake diffusion. 3)Based on the perspective of neighborhood characteristics, POI data is used to measure the spatial heterogeneity of the interaction between service facilities and residential prices.

106 POI-BASED ANALYSIS ON THE AFFECTING FACTORS OF PROPERTY PRICES' SPATIAL DISTRIBUTION IN THE TRADITIONAL INDUSTRIAL AREA
XUE Bing, XIAO Xiao, LI Jing-zhong, XIE Xiao, REN Wan-xia, LU Cheng-peng, JIANG Lu
Based on the residential POI data of the Tiexi District in Shenyang, a geographical weighted regression (GWR) model was constructed by adding three variables that could affect the traditional industrial area's property prices as well as the traditional variables, the three added variables include house age, residential density and the distance between residences and industries. The results show that:house age, residential density, public transport, public facilities and so on have a significant effect on property prices, while industrial enterprises and other factors have a certain effect on price inhibition. The relativities between all kinds of influence factors and residential prices have remarkable spatial non-stationary, showing that the intensity gradient of the regression coefficient of one-way influencing factors such as residential density, subway station distance, as well as the difference between the positive and negative effects of factors such as factory distance, bus density, shopping mall distance in the traditional and new urban areas.

115 FRACTAL CHARACTERIZATION OF STRUCTURAL EVOLUTION OF BEIJING, TIANJIN AND HEBEI TRANSPORTATION NETWORK
LONG Yu-qing, CHEN Yan-guang
The traffic integration is the basis of collaborative development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban system, and a improved structure of transportation network is of great importance to improving the efficiency of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei. Based on the multi-source road data between 1995 and 2030, fractal theory is employed to analyze the spatial pattern and structure characteristics of transportation network in Beijing-TianjinHebei urban system, and further reveal the future evolution. The main results are as below:1) The transportation network of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei shows variances in structure hierarchy. The space filling degree of low-level transportation networks are higher, while the high-level roads still have potential to grow. 2) The spatial distribution of transportation networks take on a self-affinity pattern, but the trend of anisotropy expansion decreases with time. 3) The fractal dimension growth of higher-level roads obey logistic models with exponent more than 1, suggesting that the policy interference has a greater influence than self-organizing power. The main conclusions are as follows:First, the hierarchical structure of transportation network in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei has been unstable, and it has not reached an optimized fractal hierarchy. Second, the self-affinity of road networks is too strong, which is different from the trend of land structure evolution. This is probably related to the developing stage of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban system. Third, due to the urbanization process and the implementation of transportation integration strategy, road networks at all levels are growing towards self-similar and integrative structure.

126 SPATIAL STRUCTURE EVOLUTION AND ITS MECHANISM OF URBAN-RURAL SETTLEMENT IN TRADITIONAL RURAL AREAS: A CASE STUDY OF ZHOUKOU CITY, HENAN PROVINCE
ZHU Ji-guang, LI Xiao-jian, WANG De, NIU Ning, YANG Hui-min
Urbanization is the inevitable way of social and economic development. In the processing of urbanization, the spatial structure development pattern of urban and rural settlement system is facing multiple challenges. In this study, the traditional agricultural area, Zhoukou, was used as the research area. It was found that the evaluative regularity of the spatial structure of urban-rural settlement in Zhoukou showed the evolution process of the low-level equilibrium model (1973)-the point axis model (1990)-the central peripheral model (2000)-the circle model (2015). Under the low-level equilibrium structure, towns were mainly concentrated in the three vertical and horizontal county roads, and the spatial structure of city presented the characteristic structure with the balanced development of "3-3-3", while the rural areas were scattered; Under the point-axis structure, the expansion index of urban population and construction land area increased, which had gradually become the growth pole of regions.

135 “FIELD-ACTION ANALYSIS”: THE TOURISM STRUGGLE OF FARMERS IN XICUN, GUIZHOU PROVINCE
XIE Xiao-qin
Since the 1980s, China's tourism development has gradually emerged rural tourism in local communities, especially in ethnic areas, became increasingly popular. While the tour fever happened, the number of struggles around the tourism were increasing, which referred as the "Tourism Resistances(TR)" in this paper. Different from the general form of resistances, TR mainly occurs in the scene of development for tourism. Local bureaus, tourism companies, village leaders, ordinary villagers and tourists are the actors who involved in this resistance events. While village cadres play the role of assistance for tourism developers and are indirect targets by the resistances, and because of dissatisfaction with the tour, tourist also involved into this TR, both on directly discourses or indirectly body marks, which further aggravates the resistances behavior. As behavior development has become the strongest foundation for tourism resistance, the TR promote the peasant's resistance to a certain extent. A large number of peasants involved into the TR and often brings a significant impact on the stability and political ecology ethnic areas of China. Therefore, with the new frame of "field-action" theory, this paper analyzes a case of TR of peasants in Xicun, Guizhou province. It is found that the capitalized formation of tour resources makes Xicun divided into sub-fields of economy, culture and politics and then shaped different people into different action groups as "power rent-seeking, dominance slaughter" and who suffered with exploration. Through a deep description of resistance events, peasants' strategies, and their evolutionary change path and the consequences in Xicun, this article is to enrich resistances behaviors representations and provide a new theory perspective of "field-action" which could beyond the duality analysis typology of "Structure-Institutional" and "Process-Event".

143 IMPACT OF RURAL TOURISM ON RURAL HOUSEHOLDS PLANTATION AND MIGRATION IN THE POOR MOUNTAINOUS AREAS: EVIDENCE FROM SURVEY IN 22 VILLAGES IN SHAANXI PROVINCE
LI Jie, GAO Lan
This paper uses more than 841 rural households data collected in 22 tourism poverty reduction pilot villages in 9 counties in Ankang, Shangluo, Hanzhong, Baoji, Shaanxi Province China during June-August 2017 by the authors. This paper analyses the impact of tourism participation on the rural households' plantation working time and non-tourism out-migration time by using Double Selection Model(DSM). The main findings are as follows:rural tourism can increase the households' income in survey sites, and the diversified households who are involved in tourism and agriculture have the highest family income. In the whole sample, participating in tourism has significant negative effect on rural households' agriculture and forestry production. However, from the descriptive statistics results and regression model in sub-sample of rural households who participated in tourism, we find that some tourism participation features, such as number of tourism employment in the families or specific types of tourism business, such as local product sales have significant positive impact on the family agriculture and forestry labor time. The substitution effect of tourism participation for non-tourism out-migration time is significant in several regression models. Some suggestions are proposed viz. extending the agriculture industry chain, implementing the "tourism+agriculture", promoting the integration of first, second and third industry in rural areas, encouraging community tourism by nearby tourism attractions, improving the pro-poor tourism policies etc.

152 THE CHANGE IN PERCEIVED IMAGE AND ITS EFFECT ON TRAVEL INTENTION WITH THE INTERNET PUBLIC OPINION CRISIS: A CASE STUDY OF QINGDAO'S “PRICEY PRAWN”
ZHANG Wei, SHI Kun-bo, YANG Yong-chun, QIN Zhao-xiang, SHAO Rui
Tourism has played an increasingly important role in the regional economy, which is an important supplement to regional economic development. But with the rapid development of China's tourism economy, upgrading and maintaining the tourism image has become one of the key tasks of tourism destinations. However, in the Internet era, the Internet public sentiment crisis is bringing new threats to the image of tourist destinations and it is worthy of arousing academic attention. Taking Qingdao's "pricey prawn" as a study case, and the paper aims to construct the relationship between the changes in perceived images and analyzes the effect of these changes on tourists' travel intentions. The results suggest that:1)With the influence of the Internet public opinion crisis, the cognitive and emotional image deterioration of potential visitors can cause the overall image to deteriorate. 2) With the influence of the Internet public opinion crisis, the change of potential visitors' travel intention is mainly affected by the change of emotional image.
