Abstract：The interaction between ReSAM(Recreational Spot Around Metropolis) and urbanization is of great interest and significance focus on the studies of spatial distribution of attractions in recent years. The paper firstly analyzes the features of urbanization and ReSAM of Changchun. After that, the authors further investigate and study the interaction between ReSAM and urbanization. With the development of urbanization, there are more possibilities for urban residents to go on a travel. Therefore, more and more people will go sight-seeing on ReSAM, which will accelerate the formation of the spatial structure of ReSAM. And the development of ReSAM may give an impetus to the development of regional economy and provide more work opportunities for employees, which can accelerate urbanization. Probably, some ReSAM may turn into new urban districts and growth poles of central city. In the last part of the paper, the authors put forward some measures to coordinate the development of ReSAM and urbanization. They are as follows: firstly, make tourism plans for ReSAM according to the direction of city expansion. Secondly, governments play a leading role in tourism planning and management. Finally, more attention is paid to develop key attractions in ReSAM, which can turn into growth poles of the city.
